Frankfurt/Main, Germany (ots) - Fraport AG - formerly known asFlughafen Frankfurt/Main AG (FAG) - will be exhibiting atEurope's MIPIM 2001 (Marché International des Professionels deI'Immobilier) real estate exhibition in Cannes, France. At StandR33.03, Fraport AG will be showcasing a number of outstandingreal estate developments at Frankfurt (airport code = FRA) andHahn (airport code = HHN) airports in Germany. The Fraport standwill be officially opened on March 16 at 10:30 by ProfessorManfred Schölch, Executive Board Vice Chairman of Fraport AG. During this opening reception, Professor Schölch will outlinekey projects that have been successfully marketed by Fraport.These include: the Frankfurt Airport Visitors' Center (an indoortheme park about the world of aviation), new developments atCargoCity Frankfurt, the AIRail Center superstructure that willbe built on rooftop of the AIRail Terminal Frankfurt Airport, aswell as the development and marketing of Hahn Airport (FRA's"little brother" located west of Frankfurt in the Hünsruck regionof Rhineland-Palatinate). The enormous demand for office space at Frankfurt Airport isanother topic that will be addressed. One of the recent successstories in office leasing is an agreement signed with the GermanSoccer Federation (Deutsche Fussball-Bund) to base itsorganization committee for the World Cup 2006 at FrankfurtAirport. Fraport's Freight Logistics team will also be present at MIPIM2001 to discuss commercial development opportunities at CargoCitySouth, including the range of services that this cargodevelopment-area offers for developing logistics real estateproperties. The marketing of CargoCity Frankfurt (which includesthe CargoCity North and CargoCity South areas) underscoresFraport's leading role in the field of logistics real estate.
