Anny Way Mobile Data Gateway opens access to WAP 2.0 Standard

DORTMUND (Germany) 5. August 2003 (PROTEXT/ots) - With theupdate of its Anny Way Mobile Data Gateways, MATERNA GmbHInformation & Communications opens up access to WAP 2.0 for anyinterested parties. The access data can be downloaded easily fromthe address http://wap.annyway.com This gateway is aimedprimarily at manufacturers of mobile terminals, who can performvarious interoperability tests via the Anny Way Mobile DataGateway. The Gateway offers one great advantage: with only onenetwork element, businesses and network operators can manage allservices regardless of whether they are based on WAP 1.1, WAP1.2.1 or WAP 2.0. As the first WAP-Gateway of this Standards, theMATERNA development contains the new WP TCP protocol stack andWP HTTP in parallel to the WAP protocol that had been in useuntil now. This makes the Anny Way Mobile Data Gateway a productthat makes it possible, via simultaneous support of both stacks,for mobile phones already on the market and new developments tohave standardised access to mobile internet services.
