Princeton, N.J. (PROTEXT) - Pharmaceutical industry advancesin the discovery and development of novel antibiotic agents andbetter understanding of the mechanisms of resistance, will beaddressed in depth on March 15-16, 2000 at the Hyatt RegencyHotel in Princeton, NJ, announces Strategic Research Institute. The conference, the fifth in the series, will featurepromising clinical agents including oxazolidinones,glycylcyclines, carbapenems, quinolones, ketolides,everinomycins, and lipopeptides. Additionally, novel discovery approaches such as efflux pumps,genomic targets, PK/PD modeling, glycopeptides and beta-lactamaseinhibitors will be presented.
