Munich, Germany 19.02.2002 (PROTEXT/ots) - friendlyway willpresent its videomail station to the public at this year's CeBITtrade fair. In the future it will be possible for videomailsrecorded directly on site using the videomail station to be sentfrom public locations such as railway stations, airports orshopping centres. The system is simple to use, with a touch-screen procedure tostart the system recording a 20 second video sequence of theperson standing in front. The video sequence can then be viewedbefore the system sends it as an e-mail attachment. The usersimply has to enter their own e-mail address and that of therecipient, and then they can send the message at the press of abutton. The short video greeting is sent to the recipient, and isusually financed by an accompanying short advertisement for theplace where the station is located. Owners of sites such astheme parks, zoos and shopping centres can include subtleadvertising for their products. The system has already beensuccessfully introduced in locations such as Germany's highestmountain, the Zugspitze, at trade fairs and places like Zurichairport. "The short video greeting from public video stations will soonbe as familiar as writing a postcard as a souvenir to loved ones- only much more personal, friendly and as a result also morehuman. Solutions like this enable us to make a smallcontribution towards a friendlier world," says Klaus Trox, CEOof friendlyway AG.
