Etihad Airways Inaugurates Abu Dhabi Frankfurt Non-stop Service

FRANKFURT (Germany) 2th February (PROTEXT/ots) - EffectiveFebruary 3, Etihad Airways (EY/ETD) will commence non-stopfreighter services twice per week between Frankfurt Airport(FSE: FRA) and the carriers home base in Abu Dhabi (AUH), thecapital city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Etihad will beusing an Airbus A300-600F on the new AUHFRA cargo route. Thissummer Etihad also plans to add daily non-stop passengerservices between Frankfurt and Abu Dhabi, using Airbus A330-200sjets.Founded in mid-2003, Etihad Airways is one of the fastestgrowing airlines in the world. To meet its ambitious growthplans, Etihad has purchased four A380 superjumbos and anothertwenty Airbus jets, including four A340-500s, four A340-600s andtwelve A330-200s. Etihad Airways won the prestigious 'World'sLeading New Airline Award' at the 11th World Travel Awards lastDecember.
