BAAR 16.08.2005 (PROTEXT/ots) - The first official websiteabout the martial arts legend Andy Hug is now online. It isavailable in English, Japanese and German.

The website reflects Andy Hugs life and achievements. Onnumerous pages it provides an insight into his life as a martialartist as well as a résumé of his unique career in words andpictures. During his lifetime people were fascinated by hishelpful and gentle manner combined with a fighting spirit andsingle-mindedness characteristics that mythologized him followinghis death on 24 August 2000.

It has been a particular wish of mine for almost five yearsnow to set up a website for those who revered and admired Andy. Itake great pleasure in the fact that this wish has now cometrue, says Ilona Hug, the widow of the deceased martial artist.
