FRANKFURT 07.03.2005 (PROTEXT/ots) - Fraport AG, the ownerand manager of Frankfurt Airport (FRA), will be exhibiting againat this years International Tourism Exchange (ITB) from March11 to 15 at the Berlin exhibition grounds in Germany. Under themotto Closer to You, Closer to the World, Frankfurt AirportsStand 112 in Hall 9 will focus on the wide choice of services andfacilities offered at Europes superhub. In addition, visitorswill be able to learn about Frankfurt Airports (FRA) globalflight network especially the diverse connections to the growthmarkets of Eastern Europe and Asia and the unsurpassedintermodal air/rail/road links. Other themes include FRAs massivedevelopment program designed to keep Frankfurt at the leadingedge of the travel world: capacity expansion projects such as theplanned Northwest Landing Runway and the new Terminal 3; and anew maintenance base for the coming A380 superjumbo jets.

Product innovations at the Frankfurt Airport stand includeExpertNet, an Internet-based information service designedexclusively for German travel agencies to help them provideexpert advice to their clients. Another innovation has beendeveloped for FRAs Duty Free and Travel Value shops: Effectiveimmediately, shoppers can pay with their accumulated frequentflyer points. Fraport will also be highlighting the FRA airportcity, with its 200 shops and restaurants, diverse conferencefacilities, and three excellent airport hotels.

The Frankfurt Airport Internet travel portal (www.frankfurt-airport.de) offers extensive information, useful tips, andbooking capabilities. For example, travelers can savesubstantially when they book their airport parking online inadvance. The Airport Travelnet provides a choice of more than 2million flights worldwide and attractive travel arrangements tobook online.

ITB 2005 the largest and most important trade show for thetravel and tourism industry will feature more than 10,000exhibitors from about 180 countries and regions and is expectedto exceed 140,000 visitors this year.
