76.5 Frankfurt Airport's (FRA) traffic results for October 2001continue to be characterized by the effects of the September 11terrorist attacks. Since these attacks, passenger traffic hasdropped noticeably. The daily traffic decline is about 14percent. For the entire year 2001, Fraport AG expects passengertraffic to slip slightly by a low single-figure rate. As a result of the economic situation in Germany andrecessionary signs in world trade, airfreight tonnage at FRAdropped by 11.7 percent in October. FRA's punctuality performance continued to increase. Comparedto last year (28 percent), only 19 percent of FRA's departingand arriving aircraft were late in October. (1) Excluding military flights.
