Fraport AG Wins Management Contract for Cairo Airport in Egypt

FRANKFURT 20. 12. 2004 (PROTEXT/ots) - Fraport AG FrankfurtAirport Services Worldwide has won the international bid for acontract to manage Cairo Airport in Egypt. Fraport received themaximum evaluation points in its bidding process for the Cairocontract as well as for a simultaneous bid for managing fiveEgyptian regional airports. Under the bidding rules, a companymay only be awarded one of the two projects. From the outset,Fraport had indicated its preference for managing the Egyptiancapitals international gateway. Fraports management contractwill run for eight years. Under the terms of the contract,Fraport is not required to invest in the either the Egyptianairport company or Cairos airport infrastructure.
