Fraport AG Wins Two Asian Freight Industry 2001 Awards for Frankfurt-Main Airport: "Best Airport - Europe" and "Best Air Cargo Terminal Operator - Europe"

Frankfurt, Germany (PROTEXT) - At the prestigious AsianFreight Industry Awards 2001 (AFIA) presented last Friday in HongKong, Frankfurt-Main Airport (airport code = FRA) - owned andmanaged by Fraport AG (Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide) -received two awards: "Best Airport - Europe" and "Best Air CargoTerminal Operator - Europe". Frankfurt Airport has won the "BestAirport -Europe" award four times in the past five years: from1997 to 1999, and now in 2001. In 1998, FRA also picked up the"Best Air Cargo Terminal Operator - Europe" award. The AFIAawards are organized by the Hong Kong-based publication CargonewsAsia, which polls 13,000 senior freight industry professionalsthroughout Asia to select the best companies in 37 categories inmajor trading areas worldwide. Stephen Miller, Fraport's HongKong-based representative, proudly accepted the awards on behalfof the company.
