Friendlyway and HP - mutual developments in the area of wLAN / Public systems solutions planned

Munich, Germany (PROTEXT) - Today, friendlyway Europe and HPGermany signed an agreement covering planned mutual developmentsin the area of wLAN integration in public systems. The aim ofthis development partnership is to link POI technologiesdeveloped on the basis of friendlyway with HP wLAN components. In future, these mutual solutions will allow public customersto call up information on the friendlyway AG Point ofInformation systems and download this to their mobile computerusing the HP solution. Examples of concrete locations for thesesystems are trade fairs or airports and railway stations (so-called Hot Spots). At these new information stations the newtechnology will enable visitors to obtain all sorts ofinformation such as train or bus timetables. "This mutual initiative with Hewlett-Packard is an importantstep for us in expanding, friendlyway's position as the leadingmarket innovator in the public information industry," says KlausTrox, CEO and co-founder of friendlyway AG.
