Further Expansion of Security Measures at Frankfurt Airport

Frankfurt/Main (PROTEXT/ots) - Frankfurt Airport (FRA) - whichalready has very high security standards - has implementedfurther security measures as a result of the latest developmentsin Afghanistan and the surrounding region. Expanded securitycontrols, which have long been required for U.S.-bound passengersand their hand luggage, will immediately take effect for allflights of British carriers operating at FRA. In the comingdays, the extra procedures could cause delays at the controlpoints in the terminals.
