VIENNA, July 2 (PROTEXT/ots) - Ms. Birgit Rechberger-Krammer,33, assumes responsibility as Sales Director Laundry & Home Carefor Central Eastern Europe (CEE) on behalf of Henkel CEE inVienna.

Born in Vienna, Ms. Rechberger-Krammer began her businessmanagement career in Vienna in 1992 as a trainee in key accountmanagement at Henkel. In the period 1994-1997, she assumedvarious marketing, sales and category management positionsconnected to the Thompson product line. From 1997 to 2000, shemanaged sales for Henkel's Thompson products in the field ofapartment care.

Since July 1, 2000, Ms. Rechberger-Krammer has been workingas "Head of Key Account Management CEE" for the company'sdetergent segment, with responsibility for coordinating day-to-day business with international retail chain stores. She has madea major contribution to the positive development of Henkel'sbusiness operations in this market segment.

Ms. Birgit Rechberger-Krammer is the successor to Mr. AndreasKnöbl, who, in turn, has been named General Manager of HenkelSlovenija and Henkel Croatia since July 1, 2002. Mr. Knöbl hasbeen working for Henkel since 1989, initially as a marketingtrainee and assistant. Between 1991 and 1993, he was ProductManager in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, and alsoconcluded a one-year job rotation in marketing at Henkel Iberica,Henkel's Spanish subsidiary in Barcelona. Since 1998, Mr. Knöblhas been Sales Director for the company's detergent business inCentral and Eastern Europe.

The current General Manager of Henkel Slovenija and HenkelCroatia, Mr. Reinhard Klackl, returns to Henkel CEE headquartersin Vienna and assumes the position of Marketing and Sales ManagerCosmetics for Central Eastern Europe (excluding Austria). Mr.Klackl served as General Manager of Henkel Slovenija for fouryears. Two years ago, he also assumed responsibility for managingthe business operations of Henkel Croatia.
