Heska Announces Completion of Public Offering

Fort Collins, Colo. (PROTEXT) - Heska Corporation (Nasdaq:HSKA), today announced the completion of its previously announcedpublic offering of common stock. The Company sold 6,500,000shares of its common stock to several institutional investors,including the State of Wisconsin Investment Board, CharterVentures II, L.P. and Zesiger Capital Group LLC, all of whom wereexisting stockholders of Heska. The shares were sold at $2.063per share, the closing price of the Company's common stock on TheNasdaq Stock Market on November 30, 1999, the date the Company'sregistration statement relating to the shares was declaredeffective. Net proceeds from the offering totaled approximately$13.3 million. Heska Chief Executive Officer, Robert Grieve, said, "We areextremely pleased that there was strong demand for this offeringand that some of our largest institutional shareholders haveincreased their equity position in the Company. For the pastyear, we have been focused on improving our operating results,while also developing a diverse product pipeline to support ourlong-term growth. We believe that this investment reflects anappreciation of the significant progress we are making in theseareas. This financing is a part of our strategy for strengtheningthe Company's financial position and providing the funds neededto sustain our continued growth."
