IBS Group: More success on the acquisition front - C.O.S Group takes over web-based service provider

Höhr-Grenzhausen, Germany (PROTEXT/ots) - The German-Luxemburgian C.O.S. Group belonging to IBS AG is today takingover 100% of the business shares in ttt Technologie Transfer GmbHwith headquarters in Trier and Mainz. The company is a subsidiaryof the German state Rhineland-Palatinate. It specialises inmodern, web-based training methods. This acquisition will likelyalready have a positive effect on the company's earnings in thecurrent business year. This will bring with it decisive competitive advantages forthe C.O.S. Group through web-based services such as web-basedselling, web-based training and web-based consulting, throughwhich the planned internationalisation of marketing activity willbe substantially accelerated. Customers' frequent demand formodern training methods via the Internet can also be met. IBS Group is thus purchasing an ideal addition to alreadyexisting training facilities, creating a broader base for highquality growth throughout the entire corporate group. Dr. Klaus-Jürgen Schröder, Chairman of the Board of IBS AG,sees the benefit to the company as follows: "The use of the mostmodern training methods is an extremely important qualitycharacteristics for the commercial application of high-gradesoftware.
