Investor Relations Director Appointed at IXOS SOFTWARE AG / Gala Conrad assumes as of April 1st responsibility for Investor Relations

Munich/Grasbrunn, Germany (PROTEXT) - IXOS Software AG(NASDAQ: "XOSY", Neuer Markt: "XOS"), a worldwide leadingprovider of eBusiness document management solutions in inter-enterprise system environments, today announced the appointmentof Gala Conrad as Director of Investor Relations. In her new roleshe will be part of the IXOS Senior Management Team and willreport directly to IXOS' CFO, Peter Rau. Gala Conrad (43) joined IXOS in October 1999 as Director ofCorporate Communications, with responsibility for corporate,product and internal communications, and since October last year,has also supported investor communications. In her newassignment, Gala will focus solely on corporate InvestorRelations (IR) activities, including the establishment of an IRdepartment at IXOS headquarters and collaborating with its IRagencies. Ms Conrad described her plans for her new role: "I wantto help broaden IXOS' profile as an attractive Neuer Markt andNASDAQ listed company. Gala Conrad earned an MBA from Golden Gate University in SanFrancisco, California and holds a BS in Social Science/Pedagogyfrom Munich College. Her previous responsibilities includecommunications management for Ashton-Tate, central Europeanmarketing management for 3Com, senior product analyst functionsat the European Headquarters of Compaq Computer, and seniormarketing management and business development at VEBA Telecom.
