HANNOVER (Germany) August 23 (/PROTEXT/ots) - LambdaNetCommunications, a leading European supplier of networktelecommunications services, today announced that it hasrestructured its operations and management organization to betterreflect its business objectives and opportunities in themarketplace. The announcement is part of an overall plan toadopt a more customer-focused sales and marketing brand positionin the marketplace.

The restructuring includes a realignment of existingexecutives, the appointment of a new COO and Managing Directorand a renewed operating structure that provides more autonomy toLambdaNet in-country operations.

* Mikel Williams has been appointed as LambdaNet COO andManaging Director of New Business Development in France andSpain. Mr. Williams brings tremendous experience andunderstanding of the global telecoms marketplace having heldsenior-level financial and operational positions with GlobalTeleSystems Inc. (GTS). While at GTS, Williams served as SeniorVice President of Ebone Sales and President of GTS BroadbandServices and Wholesale Services.Personnel changes within LambdaNet Germany include:

Joachim Piroth and Bjoern Claassen will serve as co-managingdirectors of LambdaNet Germany in addition to their currentpositions as LambdaNet Germany CFO and CMO respectively. Inaddition, Mr. Claassen will work closely with Mikel Williams tobuild a new pan-European sales & technical support team toconcentrate on cross-border, trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacificsales. Additionally LambdaNet will expand its regional salesteams across Germany, France and Spain to support increased salesand marketing efforts.

As a result of a decentralized organization with greaterfocus on marketing, sales and sales support, Dr. Dieter Finke,formerly CEO of LambdaNet Group, has decided to pursue other non-carrier interests. He will remain a member of the advisory boardof LambdaNet Germany.About LNG Holdings SA
