LanChile Strengthens Its Cargo Business at Frankfurt Airport

Frankfurt, Germany 2.10.2002 (ots/PROTEXT) - LanChile Cargoinaugurated freighter service between Germany and South Americatoday. In connection with this new service, the Chilean airlinehas moved its European headquarters from Paris to Frankfurt andcontracted Fraport AG's Aviation Ground Services and Logisticsdivision as its new ground-handling partner at FrankfurtAirport.

Using Boeing 767F all-cargo aircraft, LanChile Cargo willoffer three weekly flights from Frankfurt via Miami to SouthAmerican capitals such as Asunción, Buenos Aires, Montevideoand, of course, Santiago de Chile. Previously, the airlineserved the European market via Paris with two weekly freighterflights.

Cooperation with Lufthansa Cargo on the routes betweenFrankfurt and South America, allows LanChile Cargo to offeradditional freighter space.
