Lima Airports Peru Plaza Inaugurated

Frankfurt, Germany 27. 1. 2005 (PROTEXT/ots) - The new PeruPlaza at Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM) in Lima hasbeen officially inaugurated by Perus President Alejandro ToledoManrique and Fraport AGs (FSE: FRA) executive board chairman Dr.Wilhelm Bender. The 5,000 square meter terminal expansionhouses shops, restaurants and other services and is LatinAmericas only airport retail shopping center that is locatedlandside meaning it is also open to the public visiting theairport.

The Peru Plaza and the expanded and modernized terminal areais scheduled to go into operation in February. The terminaloffers 28 gates with 7 passenger loading bridges. Currently, 24airlines serve Lima Airport.

Fraport AG has a 40 percent stake in Limas internationalairport and has been responsible for operational managementsince 2001. With more than 5 million passengers, Lima Airportspassenger traffic grew 12 percent in 2004 (see also news releaseANR 7/2005). LIM continues to strengthen its position as aregional air transportation hub for Latin America.
