ProBioGen Signs Deal with Leading Biopharmaceutical Company for Cell Line Development

Berlin 03.11.2004 (PROTEXT/ots) - ProBioGen AG, Berlin,Germany announces that it has entered into a cell linedevelopment programme with Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc., ofCambridge, Mass., USA. Under the customised programme, ProBioGenwill use its Position Mediated Expression Enhancement (PMEE)strategy, which has been proved highly successful in thedevelopment of high yielding cell lines, to develop cell linesfor the Company's antibodies and manufacture pre-clinical trialmaterials.
Through the use of Boost Elements and a specific design,ProBioGen is in the position to shorten development time andmeet customer expectations even under aggressive timelines.
