The conference will be devoted to improving the investmentclimate in Russia. Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Khristenko,Minister of Economic Development and Trade of RF German Gref,Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central FederalDistrict Investment Agency Dmitry Yermakov, President-Chairman ofthe Board of Vneshtorgbank Yuri Ponomarev, and representatives ofRussian and foreign companies, and of financial and legalorganizations from the European Union will attend.

Aleksander Medvedev, General Director of the Russia StateSpace Programme Centre, will make a presentation on current andfuture projects in development of Russian space programmes forthe 21ste century.During the "Investing in Russia" Conference, they will alsopresent some of their products (plains, rockets and mini spacestations) at the exhibition in the registration area.

One of the opening speakers is the Rt. Hon. Chris Patten, EUCommissioner on External Affairs.

This will be the second such event to be held in connectionwith state visits by Vladimir Putin to the EU. The first tookplace in Berlin on September 25.

The conference venue is the Sheraton Tower, Place Rogier.Registration for delegates starts at 8.00 a.m.After the conference, a free lunch for delegates and journalistswill be held.
