BERLIN/LONDON 6th October - (ots/PROTEXT) ThinPrint, marketleader for software based print management, has announced theavailability of the mobile business solution Content Beamer 2.3.for Symbian OS, the leading operating system for smartphones.

With Content Beamer 2.3, employees can use a Symbiansmartphone to access information on the company server to reademail attachments, or initiate database queries. Documents can bedisplayed on the smartphone as pure text which saves the user thebandwidth of downloading the whole document. It is not necessaryto have the relevant file format viewer installed on the phone asContent Beamer 2.3 takes the formatting used for defining printjobs to allow document viewing. The document can be printed inoriginal format as a fax or via bluetooth or infrared to anyavailable printer. Systematic data integrity is ensured by amultileveled security system.

As a member of Symbian's Catalyst Program, ThinPrint hasworked in close co-operation with Symbian to deliver ContentBeamer. The 'by invitation' program offers support to keydevelopment partners bringing Symbian OS based solutions tomarket.
