TANGO EVENING AT FESTIVAL 'KAFKA BORGES/BUENOS AIRES PRAGUE' * Visit to Prague by Deputy Mayor of Buenos Aires * Closure of the Festival

PRAGUE June 30 (PROTEXT) - Within the context of the Festival 'Kafka Borges/Buenos Aires Prague', the Deputy Mayor of the city of Buenos Aires, Dr. Jorge Telerman, arrived on June 30th to Prague to attend the end part of the Festival and its official closure on the 3rd of July on the occasion of the 121st annivesary of his birth.
Tomorrow, July 1st, at 7 pm, in the Senate Gardens at the Wallenstein Palace - Sala Terrena - a Tango recital by the Argentine ensemble Luis Borda Quartet, and the singer Mr. Mundo Burgos, together with the traditional tango dancers Celia Millan and Michael Ihnow, will take place. The tango songs are by Astor Piazolla, based on Jorge Luis Borges letter. A concert by the mezzo-soprano Dominique Devaux Blazkova inspired on Kafka's stories will also take place. Admission free, open to all public.
The closure act will take place on on Saturday the 3rd of July at 5 p.m at the Franz Kafka's monument, at the corner of Siroka and Vezenska Streets in Prague 1, by the Spanish Synagogue. Translations to and from English and Spanish.
