TÜV Product Service issues 100.000th Product Safety Certificate to Samsung

MUNICH 4. 3. 2002, Germany (ots/PROTEXT) - TÜV ProductService GmbH, one of the world's leading internationalorganisations for testing, evaluation and certification todayissued the 100.000th product certificate to Samsung ElectronicCo. Ltd. Dr. Ruprecht Schattner, CEO and President of ProductService handed over the certificate to Dr. Chin Daeje, Presidentand CEO of Samsungs Electronics Co., Ltd. at a formal ceremony inSuwon-City, Korea attended by Franz-Hermann Hirlinger, Directorof State of Bavaria Seoul Office. The celebrated100.000th certificate was issued for a plasma display panel (PDP)for a Samsung TV monitor, which successfully fulfilled therequirements of the EN Standard 60950/All:1997 for electricalsafety.
