With competent partners on the European market / SIRS- Lab GmbH expands its distribution network

Jena, Germany 18.03.2004 (PROTEXT/ots) - SIRS-Lab, abiotechnological company based in Jena (Germany), announcesdistribution agreements with four European partners covering 12European countries. During a sales meeting on 16 and 17 March inJena, representatives of the involved companies signed thecontracts.
BioCat GmbH, located in Heidelberg, will distribute SIRS-Labproducts in Germany and Switzerland. Distribution in the CzechRepublic as well as in Slovakia will be provided by GeneTiCA. TheAustrian genXpress GmbH is SIRS-Labs distribution partner inAustria, Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary. Customers in the UnitedKingdom and Ireland can order SIRS-Lab products through the UKdistributor at Stratech Scientific Ltd.
By signing these agreements, SIRS-Lab reacts to itsincreasing turnover and product demand. Dr. Stefan Rußwurm, SIRS-Labs CEO, said: "We were already present in the majority of thesecountries but we feel that we need close partnerships with localservice providers in order to provide our customers with the bestpossible solution for their needs". Just three years afterfoundation, SIRS-Labs portfolio already includes 12 innovativeproducts and services, with more products in development.
SIRS-Labs distribution partners are pleased with thenegotiated agreements. "For us, as a company with extensiveexperience in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, it is important tomaintain our position as a supplier of cutting edge products.Selling SIRS-Lab products will allow us to maintain this marketposition", expects Dr. Josef Fiser of the Czech company GeneTiCA.
