By Friday, 26 October 2007, journalists may still obtain accreditations for the 5th Ministerial Conference on the Protection of Forests in Europe. The Conference will be held on 5-7 November 2007 in Warsaw. It will be opened by Mr. Lech Kaczyński, President of the Republic of Poland, with the participation of over 40 ministers responsible for the environmental protection in European countries.
Journalists willing to participate in the Conference are requested to fill in the accreditation form available at http://www.mcpfe.pap.pl/palio/html.run?_Instance=cms_mcpfe.pap.pl&_PageID=1052&UIL=EN&_CheckSum=-449559840 by Friday.
The accreditation entitles you to participate in:
- A two-day plenary session with the participation of ministers responsible for environmental protection in Europe representatives of international organizations and observer states
- The press conference of the minister participating in the MCPFE General Co-ordinating Committee
- The plenary session in the Kozienicka forest
The 5th Ministerial Conference on the Protection of Forests in Europe is held under the joint auspices of Poland and Norway. Ministers responsible for forests and forestry in European states, representatives of the European Commission and of international organizations and forestry institutions as well as representatives of non-European states that participate in the process as observers, will take part in the discussion on priorities and the future of the forestry policy.
